Currently operating in over 90 countries and is currently the market leader in Asia, South America and the Middle East. Mitsubishi Electric Europe (MEU) Lift and Escalator Department (LED) have been providing services for Design, Manufacture, Install and Maintenance to a national customer base since 1994.

Our History

From it's founding in 1921, Mitsubishi Electric has been at the forefront of Japan's technical ingenuity and product innovation. From it's first hit product-an electric fan for consumer use-Mitsubishi Electric has continued to create a long list of "firsts" and groundbreaking new technologies that have shaped its business fields all around the world. 

Location

Our principal factory, located at lnazawa in Japan (MELINA), is responsible for the prime research and development of the products with a production capacity of 18,000 elevators per year. In addition, we also have factories in the Netherlands (EMEC) and Thailand (AMEC), with a combined output of over 20,000 units per year. 

Manufactured placing priority on safety first, our elevators are renowned for their excellent efficiency, energy saving and comfort.

Our factories are certified to ISO 9001. All equipment manufactured for European supply is accredited by our Notified Body.

In the UK, Mitsubishi Electric is certified for the design, installation and servicing of lifts and escalators. In order to meet the requirements of the Lift Regulations, our quality system is accredited by Bureau Veritas as a Notified Body.
